Putting a name to the buyer of a property requires HM Land Registry’s CCOD and OCOD registers. Unlike Price Paid Data, those are not released under the Open Government Licence: they are free to obtain but sit behind a registered account whose agreement restricts onward publication, and HM Land Registry licenses the same data commercially.

This site has never held them — no key was obtained and the registers were never downloaded — so transfers are shown without buyers rather than with guessed ones. That is a licensing decision, not a gap waiting to be filled.
